Save our Tourism Offices

As part of Somerset Council budget cuts, they are planning to close our important Tourism Offices in Taunton and Cartgate!

Somerset Council declared a financial emergency in November due to an expected £87m budget gap for the next financial year.

Shutting the two sites could save £167,000 by April 2025 but this is shortsighted and ignores the fact that the Somerset tourism industry is worth £1.3 billion.

Please sign our petition before 15th February 2024 so we can present this to Somerset Council before their budget meeting and let them know this isn't the right decision for Somerset!
