Somerset Conservatives are pleased to announce today the appointment of a new agent;Jonathan Fraser-Howells. On the appointment Group Chairmen Peter Wright said,
"The five constituency Chairmen (who make up the lead Somerset Group Executive members) met with me yesterday to choose a new Group Agent following the departure of James Cockram to London.
I am delighted to say that, after a series of interviews we appointed Jonathan Fraser-Howells who is presently the Group Agent for the federated constituencies of Kensington and Chelsea and Fulham. Jonathan is a senior and very experienced Agent and will, I am sure, soon establish himself in Somerset.
A start date has yet to be agreed but it will be in early in the New Year.
Finally, I must warmly thank Sue Bristowe and Jack Berry for so effectively “holding the fort” whilst we have been going through the appointments process – they have done an absolutely first class job."
