Marcus Fysh MP was thrilled to have been invited to Combe St Nicholas C of E School, to watch the ‘Lights, Camera, Parliament!’ competition film the school submitted. The school had won the first prize for this competition the year before, and this year, they have received a Highly Commended recognition for their film: To limit the placement of solar panels to non-agricultural land.

Marcus was impressed with the film, and was pleased to present the certificates to George, Charlotte and Brandon. Marcus was also give a full tour of the school by the Headteacher Christine Maxwell, including attending the daily assembly. Marcus said "The film showed great skill and understanding of some of the issues facing the United Kingdom, with regards to farming and the environment. There is also a real commitment in the school to ensuring the children have fully grasped the 1st steps of democracy, I was honoured to present the badges to those elected to the School Council".
