Sedgemoor District Council and Homes in Sedgemoor have stepped in with some money to maintain a post at the Citizens Advice Bureau which was under threat of redundancy.

The money will employ a part-time case worker, who will help people who have difficulties in keeping their homes. The worker deals with cases of repossessions, including court presentations if required. The case worker will help people in financial hardship at risk of losing their home including assisting clients to complete court and legal forms and financial statements for court hearings and advise on preventing homeless including applying for prevention loans and other sources of help.
