David Warburton, the Conservative prospective parliamentary candidate for Somerton & Frome, will sponsor the region’s first Housing & Jobs Fair on Tuesday 11 November. Open to all, Under One Roof is a free-entry event taking place from 10am – 3pm at the Cheese & Grain in Frome.
The fair will offer a wide range of professional advice and information on all aspects of property, including financial advice for first-time buyers, information about social housing and private rental, guidance on mortgages, house-building, shared ownership and Help-to-Buy schemes. Exhibitors include NatWest, Apple Build & Design, TSB, Lewisgray Estate Agents, Clive Lewis Estate Agents, the Centre for Sustainable Energy and Mendip District Council.
Under One Roof will also offer help to job-seekers, providing advice on employment opportunities, apprenticeships and back-to-work schemes. Exhibitors include Prospects National Careers Service, the British Army, Sainsbury’s, Dominos Pizza and Sun Traffic Ltd.
