Rebecca Pow, Prospective Conservative MP for Taunton Deane tries out Bill Maidment’s Harvey Davidson motorbike at the Wellington Street Fair on Sunday.

"It was a bit of fun but on a serious note Bill and his club of riders are doing their bit to raise funds and the profile of the Royal British Legion Wellington Branch. All funds raised go towards the invaluable help given to those who need it either in or connected to our armed forces."

"The town was thronging with people both local and from further afield enjoying the entertainment, food and other stalls – it was an excellent event. On a serious note, many charities took part to raise their profile and much needed funds, such as the charming flower stall raising money for Cold Harbour Mill in Uffculme, a working wool museum run as an educational facility for children."
